As a Swim Instructor at Alexandria Swim Club, you will lead swimming programs and conduct both individual and group lessons designed for children of different age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who possess a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication abilities, and the genuine talent to motivate young swimmers and nurture in them a fondness and respect for the water. We are currently seeking an energetic and self-driven Swim Instructor to become part of our team and contribute to our Alexandria Swim Club in Alexandria, MN.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver swim instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and encouraging learning environment for all students
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, offering feedback and assistance as necessary

Requirements:
• Prior experience working with students of diverse ages and capabilities, preferably in an educational or instructional role
• Strong swimming expertise and knowledge of different strokes and techniques
• Profound understanding of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certification (infant, child & adult)
• Outstanding communication, organizational, time management, and innovative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Background in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous, demonstrating comprehension of working with children in a structured setting
• Passion and adoration for both swimming and children!
