As a Swim Instructor at Columbia Aquatics Association, you will lead swimming programs and provide tailored individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to inspire young swimmers while promoting water safety. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team and support our Columbia Aquatics Association in Columbia, MD.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of varying ages and abilities
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Assess student progress and offer feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, especially in educational or instructional settings
• Proficient in swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Ability to manage behavior and handle challenging situations professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous
• Passion for swimming and working with children
