As a Swim Instructor at YMCA of Hagerstown, you will lead swimming programs and provide both individual and group lessons to children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students from who have a deep love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-driven Swim Instructor to join our team in Hagerstown, MD.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and abilities
• Create a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor student progress and offer feedback and guidance as needed

Requirements
• Experience working with students in educational or instructional settings
• Knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong behavior management skills for handling challenging situations
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
