As a Swim Instructor at Randolph Area YMCA Swim Team, you will lead swimming programs and deliver customized individual and group lessons for children of different age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for students with a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire young swimmers while promoting water safety. We are currently seeking a motivated Swim Instructor to join our team and support Randolph Area YMCA Swim Team in Buckhannon, WV.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance as needed

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial, as it demonstrates an understanding of working with children in a structured environment!
• A love and passion for swimming and children!
