As a Swim Instructor at Eau Claire YMCA Marlins, you will lead swimming programs and provide customized individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers and cultivate a true appreciation for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team and contribute to our Eau Claire YMCA Marlins in Eau Claire, WI.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering feedback and support when necessary

Requirements
• Experience working with students of different ages and abilities, especially in an educational or instructional capacity
• Proficient swimming skills and knowledge of different swim strokes and techniques
• Strong understanding of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certification (infant, child & adult)
• Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, and innovative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management abilities, with the capacity to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Previous experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous, as it displays a comprehension of working with children in a structured setting!
• A genuine love and enthusiasm for swimming and working with children!
