As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfortable in and around open water with basic safety knowledge
• Able to navigate deep water and utilize watercraft such as a surfboard, paddleboard, or kayak
• Pass lifeguard prerequisite exam, including a 550-meter open water swim and 2-minute tread water without hands
• Experience working with or teaching children is preferred
• Red Cross Certification or WSI certification is a plus
• Must be 18+ years of age
