As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfortable around open water with knowledge of safety considerations
Able to use watercraft in deep water (Surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
Pass lifeguard prerequisite exam (550-meter open water swim, 2 min tread water without hands, etc.)
Experience with children preferred
Red Cross or WSI certification preferred
Must be 18+ years old
