As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfortable in and around open water with basic knowledge of safety considerations
• Ability to navigate deep water and have basic proficiency in using watercraft (surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
• Capable of passing lifeguard prerequisite exam, including various swimming and water survival skills
• Previous experience working with or teaching children is preferred
• Red Cross Certification or WSI certification is a plus
• Must be 18 years of age or older
