We are seeking an experienced COOK with a diverse culinary background to prepare and cook lunch and dinner for a small group of mental health residential adults in Sylmar, California.

Full-time preferred; Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5:30 pm.

Job Duties:

• cook lunch
• prep dinner for the evening shift
• create weekly menus
• purchase groceries for the week
• well-versed in different cuisines - American, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Family Style and Vegan dishes
• be aware of the different dietary needs of clients and tailor to their needs
• Shop for ingredients, stock the kitchen, & monitor food freshness
• Keep refrigerators and kitchen clean and organized

We are looking to hire for this position by mid-August.
