As a lifeguard at St. Louis Park Recreation Center Aquatic Park, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our members and guests. As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfortable in and around open water with knowledge of safety considerations
Basic ability to use watercraft in deep water (Surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
Ability to pass lifeguard prerequisite exam, including open water swim and treading water
Previous experience working with or teaching children is preferred
Red Cross or WSI certification is preferred but not required
Must be 18 years of age or older
