As a Swim Instructor at Dover YMCA Dolphins, you will lead swimming programs and provide personalized lessons to children of different ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to motivate young swimmers while fostering a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a motivated Swim Instructor to join our team in Dover, DE.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction for students of various ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and provide feedback and guidance accordingly

Requirements
• Experience working with students in educational or instructional settings
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledge of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to manage behavior and handle challenging situations with children
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
