As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfort in and around open water with knowledge of safety considerations
Comfort in deep water with basic watercraft skills (surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
Ability to pass lifeguard prerequisites (open water swim, treading water, etc.)
Experience working with or teaching children is a plus
Red Cross or WSI certification preferred
Must be 18 years or older
