As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfort and proficiency in open water with knowledge of safety precautions
• Ability to navigate deep waters and utilize watercraft like surfboards, paddleboards, and kayaks
• Successfully pass lifeguard prerequisite exam, including a 550-meter open water swim and 2-minute hands-free tread water
• Previous experience working with or teaching children is preferred
• Red Cross Certification or WSI certification is a plus but not required
• Must be 18 years or older
