As a Swim Instructor at Lowell Community Lionfish, you will lead swimming programs, offering tailored individual and group lessons for children of all ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students with a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers to develop a respect and passion for the water. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Swim Instructor to join our team and support our Lowell Community Lionfish location in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:
• Provide swim instruction for students of varying ages and skill levels
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and offer feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements:
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Proficiency in different swim strokes and techniques
• Strong foundation in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Effective communication, organization, and time management skills
• Skilled in behavior management and handling challenging situations professionally
• Background in childcare or sports coaching is a plus for working with children in a structured environment
• Passion for swimming and working with children
