Are you a student at with a passion for swimming? Join Salem Family YMCA as a Swim Instructor in Roanoke, VA! We are seeking a self-motivated individual to lead swimming programs and provide lessons to children of all ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities:
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed

Requirements:
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes
• Background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong behavior management skills
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial
• Passion for swimming and children
