Want to be part of our awesome company? We are currently seeking a full time PHLpreKLead Teacher.
Performance Summary
Plans and facilitates daily activities for the children through use of the Creative Curriculum. Consistently provides developmentally appropriate and child centered activities that meet the physical, social and emotional, and intellectual needs of the children. Functions as a team leader and role model working with assistants and volunteers in the classroom. Must be capable of performing physical demands such as continuous standing, walking, and lifting above 10 pounds.
Primary duties and responsibilities
1. Must have a high energy level to meet the needs of small children
2. Interact positively with children, parents, and coworkers.
3. Plans, implements, and evaluates daily activities for children in their assigned groups.
4. Gives instruction to children regarding desirable health and personal habits.
5. Creates and maintains physical environment that promotes positive development.
6. Responsible for supervision and constructive utilization of materials.
7. Keeps appropriate records.
8. Maintains health and safety of children and environment.
9. Responds in a professional manner to all situations.
10. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
Associate’s Degree in ECE or related field
