As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfortable in and around open water with basic knowledge of safety considerations
Comfortable in deep water and basic watercraft use (Surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
Ability to pass lifeguard prerequisite exam
Experience with or teaching children is a plus
Red Cross Certification or WSI certification preferred
Must be 18 years or older
