As a Swim Instructor at Norristown Area Aquatic Club, you will lead swimming programs and provide tailored individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students at who have a strong love for swimming, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire young swimmers to enjoy and respect the water. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team at Norristown Area Aquatic Club in Norristown, PA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance as needed

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, particularly in an instructional or educational setting
• Strong swimming abilities and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management skills, able to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus, showing an understanding of working with children in a structured setting
• Passion for swimming and working with children
