Description
As a Swim Instructor at SKY Family YMCA Hurricanes, you will lead swimming programs by providing personalized individual and group lessons for children of all ages and skill levels. This is the perfect opportunity for enthusiastic students with a strong passion for swimming and the ability to motivate young swimmers to enjoy and respect the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and self-driven Swim Instructor to join our team in North Port, FL.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and abilities
• Create a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Evaluate student progress and offer feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements
• Previous experience working with students in an educational or instructional setting
• Proficiency in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledge of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid certification for infants, children, and adults
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and teaching skills
• Effective behavior management skills to handle challenging situations professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
