Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to assist with managing and growing our social media presence. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work closely with our marketing team and contribute to the development and execution of social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with creating, curating, and scheduling engaging content across various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, comments, and messages, and engage with the online community.
- Help with the development and execution of social media campaigns and promotions.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media tools and strategies.
- Support the creation of visual content, including graphics and videos, using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assist with managing social media advertising campaigns and budgets.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement new social media strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong interest in social media and digital marketing with a solid understanding of various social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Canva)
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous internship or work experience in social media or digital marketing is a plus but not required.
