Personal Statement

I earned my BA in Political Science and Government from Michigan State University. I obtained my MA in Theology from Harvard University. After graduation, I began tutoring students in a variety of academic topics. I can teach the material on the GED exam, including a number of strategies that improve my student's performance on it. I can tutor students in writing, law, social studies, and political subjects using teaching methods that are ideal for their learning. I enjoy getting to know my student's learning style, personality, and skill level as I develop their study plan.
