Personal Statement

I attended Wesleyan University of Connecticut, where I earned my bachelor's degree in English. While I was there, I worked as a tutor for students in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade. Every student I've met has had the ability to succeed academically, meeting and even surpassing their goals. I find tutoring is an opportunity to help them gain that confidence in their abilities and intelligence, which helps as we work on conquering any obstacles that they are facing.
