Personal Statement

I have always had a strong passion for learning and look forward to sharing it with numerous people. My tutoring philosophy is to make sure my students have a firm grip on the foundational subjects and are able to break concepts down into easy to understand pieces of information. I believe in teaching through examples and practice problems. Also, I believe in avoiding memorization and teaching people why they are learning the material, not just giving them the answers. I have an associate's degree in business administration and management and enjoy tutoring in many subjects including algebra, algebra 2, elementary math, C++, French, and Spanish.
