Personal Statement

Working in education, specifically teaching is my main passion in life. I have always loved learning. When I was a child, I was wildly passionate about reading and always thirsty for knowledge. I read books daily and I was so passionate about reading that I neglected my chores and other responsibilities. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to have a career in education. My teaching philosophy is about balance. We will work hard to learn the material, but have fun doing so. I believe that effective teaching and effective instruction go hand-in-hand.
