Personal Statement

I'm an English tutor who didn't always love the subject that I teach. When I was in high school, I would sit in English class and wonder why I had to be there. That attitude changed when I met my senior English teacher. He made the subject relate to the real world and my life. If not for this teacher, my life would be completely different now.
