Personal Statement

I am passionate about teaching and have been working with numerous students from a variety of backgrounds in many different subjects. I recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with my bachelor's degree. I have studied philosophy, politics, and economics. Before I began my college career, I co-founded a tutoring center where we worked with financially challenged students in English. One summer while I was in school I taught a creative writing course. Through my experiences I have learned many techniques to teaching the same material. I am most interested in tutoring in SAT prep because I love helping students make the transition from high school to college.
