Personal Statement

I live in Minneapolis and attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where I'm working towards a degree in Physiology. My father came to the United States as an immigrant from Nigeria and founded a healthcare company. He taught me about managing and financing a business, and my mother, a nurse, taught me about caregiving and healthcare. Tutoring is a way for me to teach others, especially children, the importance of learning and of receiving a thorough education. I am available to tutor students from elementary school on up in math, pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, English, geometry, pre-calculus, trigonometry, and writing.
