Cons: n/a
Has a good eye for art
Cons: Jacobs gives difficult assignments that require a lot of your time and effort
Cons: Professor Jacobs is awful. She's often rude to the students, and is very condescending. Her projects are excessively hard, requiring hours and hours of work, while not actually teaching much about art. She is a very tough grader; getting an A is nearly impossible, especially if she decides she doesn't like you.
Look for another teacher for ARTT100!!!!!
by exams I mean major projects (she calls them assignments). If you like art, then take the class but she doesn't like people who slack off and don't take the class seriously.
Cons: At the beginning of class, she issues out a list of supplies and you barely use half of it. As her salary is the highest in the art department and she makes six figures, she loses track of the fact that college kids HAVE NO MONEY.
When I took her class, her projects seemed excessive and few fully caught my interest.
I would suggest that you take ARTT100 with a different professor if you can.
