Personal Statement

I have a bachelor's degree in mathematics with minors in statistics, computer science, and secondary education from Ursinus College. I have experience teaching all grades from middle school to high school. While I enjoy working with students within a classroom setting, I enjoy the one-one-one experience that tutoring offers because I can better address a student's needs this way. I believe that math can be fun and rewarding if taught in a way that allows students to see the tools that it can offer them. I believe that it is essential to build a student's confidence in math before doing anything else.
