Personal Statement

I love making history and art approachable through teaching, tutoring, and my own professional work in museums. Teaching through hands-on experience has always been a part of my own education and I strive to continue that practice with my own students when possible. In my five years of teaching at Emory University (in Art History, Theology, and Classics), I often brought my students to the campus museum, special collections library, and theology library, to give them these types of experiences. ...
