Personal Statement

The best part of tutoring is empowering others. I have most recently been working as a middle school English, Latin, and fine arts teacher. I have also been privately tutoring many pupils who required more time to learn in the areas I teach. I can adapt to any learning style, which is something that I think makes me a great tutor. I know from my tutoring experience that a great teacher can change a pupil's entire outlook on learning. I don't think children ever genuinely dislike school; they just hate feeling powerless over the learning environment.
