Personal Statement

I obtained my degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where I studied philosophy, English writing, and anthropology. I graduated with honors and went on to attend the University of Southern California for my MFA in Writing. I primarily tutor students in English and social studies topics, as well as GED test prep. I can work with students in essay structure, research strategies, grammar mechanics, and creative writing. I believe that all students can succeed in their courses with strong communication and comprehension skills.
