Graduate of Columbia University teaching mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Over 4 years of experience tutoring middle school through college students.
I am from Southern California, where I attended Huntington Beach High School. I then attended community college here, before transferring to Columbia University in New York. I was able to transfer to and graduate from an Ivy League university because I was a good student, but this was not always the case. I struggled through most of High School, frustrated that my efforts weren't leading to good grades. Once I learned the importance of study skills and good organization however, I was able to drastically improve my performance while still having time to live a balanced life outside of school. Academics shouldn't consume a student's entire life. Good study skills can lead to good performance in school while leaving time for other things, and it's my goal to help my students achieve this!
