As a Swim Instructor at Severna Park Stingrays, you will lead swimming programs and offer both individual and group lessons designed for children of different ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for students who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication abilities, and a genuine talent for motivating young swimmers while fostering a deep appreciation for the water. We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Swim Instructor to be part of our team and support our Severna Park Stingrays located in Millersville, MD.

Responsibilities:
• Provide swim instruction to students of various ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and give appropriate feedback and support

Requirements:
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, ideally in an educational or instructional environment
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Effective behavior management skills, able to handle challenging situations calmly
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
• Passion for swimming and working with children
