Personal Statement

I was a college professor for 25+ years. I have been tutoring on and off as a freelancer for about the same amount of time. I enjoy helping people who want to learn. I love witnessing that moment when students ""get it."" When students ask questions, it shows me they are engaged and invested - even if it is to admit lack of understanding or direction!
