Personal Statement

I started teaching at a young age (15 years old). How? I was teaching karate as a part-timer. I taught children ages 3-16 and even adults. Once I got to college, I thought I was done with teaching, but then I found myself teaching critical learning skills to preschool-aged children. I always knew education had an important role no matter what age, so I decided to become an English teacher. Literacy is very important, especially in this world, as technology increases so does dependency. My style is all about the student, being patient with them, and being empathetic in order to reach their goals.
