Hey there, I'm Derrick – an enthusiastic tutor with a knack for making learning engaging and effective. I've got a solid background in guiding students through reading and math, and I'm here to help you conquer those subjects with confidence. My teaching style is all about creating a supportive space where your learning style takes center stage. I believe in building strong foundations that last, whether it's boosting your reading comprehension or mastering math concepts. I'm all about keeping things interactive and enjoyable. From hands-on activities to real-world examples, I'm here to make learning feel less like a chore and more like an exciting adventure. Outside of teaching, you'll find me in two other worlds: Fortnite and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When I'm not helping students, I'm diving into epic battles in Fortnite or catching up on the latest Marvel movies.
