I learned a great deal from this course. Professor Sanoja was demanding but knowledgeable. Take him if you want a college course taught on a college level.

Introduction to Comparative Political Analysis...is an INTRODUCTION COURSE.
The first midterm was Monday of the 7th week. Therefore, no grades were available prior to the end of week 6. He was new, so I'll let it slide. The first midterm covered 16 chapters, consisting of approximately 500 pages plus or minus maybe 10. The final paper is a minimum of 15 pages, and he will not grade any paper below 15 prior to reading.
He is Spanish so pay attention becomes some words might sound foreign but they are most certainly are English. Cuba=COOBA.
The course does offer a lot of useful information if you want to focus in International Politics or even International Business. It explains a lot about difference political and economic systems within countries and how they have evolved.
If you want a course that is highly involved and consumes your entire summer, take him. If you want to enjoy your summer but still have a relatively productive summer, try business courses or possibly finger painting in COMAD (I hear they even let you eat the paint). But that's neither here nor there.
