As a Swim Instructor at Rochester Rapids Swim Team, you will lead swimming programs and conduct individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, have strong communication skills, and can motivate young swimmers to develop a love for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities:
• Provide swim instruction for students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Evaluate student progress and offer feedback and support as needed

Requirements:
• Experience working with diverse age groups and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional capacity
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledgeable about water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Strong communication, organizational, time management, and teaching skills
• Effective behavior management abilities, with a calm and professional demeanor in challenging situations
• Prior experience in childcare or sports coaching is advantageous
• A genuine love for swimming and working with children
