I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from The Hockaday School. I have finished a degree in neuroscience at UT Dallas. Prior to my neuroscience degree, I attended a writing intensive liberal arts college with a curriculum based on the Great Books program in Santa Fe.
