Personal Statement

I earned my Master of Fine Arts in Visual Art from the University of California - San Diego as well as a double Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Art History from Brandeis University. During my undergraduate degree I also took a number of mathematics and chemistry courses. This demonstrates my ability to think not only creatively, but also analytically. A significant portion of all of my degrees included writing, which eventually led to a teaching assistantship in writing. In addition, I have experience tutoring for the SAT writing and English sections, ACT writing and English sections, and college application essay writing.
