Personal Statement

I have 9+ years at home as a formal educator in the Classical method and 2 years previous experience in public schools in an ESL (Spanish-speaking) elementary classroom. I love teaching children how to read. Learning to read involves learning the rules of phonics, spelling, and grammar in addition to some knowledge about foreign languages, Latin, and Greek roots.
