Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Maria. I am a professional ballet dancer with the National Opera of Ukraine and have always had a passion for transmitting my knowledge to my students. My journey began at the age of ten when I started training at a professional ballet school in Kyiv, Ukraine. I have had the privilege of training in the Vaganova method under some of the most respected ballet masters and dancers in the field, and I eventually graduated with a high honor diploma in choreography. I spent four years training in Brussels, Belgium, further perfecting my craft, and it is where I began teaching all levels, from children to adult ballet, amateurs to professionals. I have experience teaching various classes, adapted to each individual student, ranging from classical ballet to stretching and Pilates. I am dedicated to cultivating confidence, resilience, and a deep respect for the art of ballet in every class! Fluent in English, Russian, and even some French!
