Personal Statement

As a newspaper editor, I have studied writing my whole life. I started by winning a 4th grade spelling bee, eventually leading to editing and publishing a community newspaper. I have a passion for working with youth and helping them succeed through the written word. I thrive on the written word and love to see an article through from an idea to a final polished project. I love facts and fiction.
