Personal Statement

I developed a love for learning at a young age and began tutoring my fellow classmates while in high school. I graduated summa cum laude with my degree in neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas. I am currently enrolled at McGovern Medical School to complete my pre-medicine program. As a tutor, I strive to break down the concepts into basic information that can be readily applied to the material. I can tutor students in pharmacology, nursing, chemistry, and other science and medicine subjects. I aim to engage my students in the concepts through a variety of teaching techniques.
