Annual scholarships are awarded to students pursuing a career in Land Surveying and enrolled in Washington college programs offering Land Surveying courses. Students in the Geomatics program at Oregon Institute of Technology and those enrolled in the online program at Great Basin College are also eligible, with a preference for those intending to work in Washington State. The LSAW Foundation administers scholarships on behalf of individuals, families, and various LSAW Chapters in addition to scholarship awards supported by the Foundation:

• John Thalacker Memorial Scholarship – Preference given to students who reside in or who are enrolled in a Surveying degree program in Island, San Juan, Skagit or Whatcom counties at the time of submittal.
• Mike Mickiewicz Memorial Scholarship
• North Olympic Surveyors Memorial Scholarship
• LSAW Foundation Scholarship
• Jim Coan Memorial Scholarship – Competitive scholarship - Students must be enrolled in a land surveying curriculum program. (check the details provided in the application form)
