Historically Underrecognized Student Archaeology Scholarship

Description
The Historically Underrecognized Student Archaeology Scholarships (formerly the Historically Underrepresented Groups Scholarship) were established in 2010 to boost recruitment and retention of underrepresented minorities in archaeology.

Undergraduate Students: Scholarships support archaeological training or research participation, covering expenses like tuition, travel, housing, and supplies. Funding is available for various summer training programs, not just field schools, with awards up to $3,000 for one to two students each year.

Graduate Students: Similar to the undergraduate scholarships, these funds support training and research expenses for graduate minority students, also covering up to $3,000 for one to two students annually.
