 My experience with this professor was extremely disheartening and frustrating. From the beginning of the course, it became clear that she plays favorites and treats students very differently based on her personal preferences rather than their academic performance or effort. While some students were met with encouragement and support, others — myself included — were consistently dismissed, ignored, or treated unfairly. Despite putting in the time, effort, and dedication to succeed in this class, I felt like nothing I did was ever going to be enough because she had already made up her mind about me. There was little to no constructive feedback, communication was often cold or dismissive, and the grading felt arbitrary and inconsistent. It's incredibly discouraging to be in an educational environment where your success feels predetermined by how much the professor personally likes you, rather than your actual work. In the end, I failed the course, not because I didn't try or because I didn't understand the material, but because of a clear personal bias that was never addressed. This experience has made me question the fairness and integrity of the course as a whole. I would strongly advise future students to consider other professors if they are looking for a fair, supportive, and professional learning experience.
