Position Overview:
OKSI is seeking a sharp and motivated Software Engineering Intern to support the development of real-time autonomy and perception software. You'll be contributing to mission-critical projects in areas such as unmanned systems, visual navigation, and target tracking—gaining hands-on experience with advanced algorithms and edge processors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and optimize software in C++ and Python

• Support the implementation of computer vision, AI/ML, and sensor fusion algorithms

• Contribute to real-time embedded systems running on edge processors

• Work on GPU acceleration and optimization where needed (CUDA)

• Collaborate with senior engineers on internal tools and fieldable prototypes

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in C++ and Python

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field

• Strong analytical skills and an eagerness to learn

• Must be eligible for U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CUDA or GPU programming

• Familiarity with Qualcomm Snapdragon or similar embedded/mobile processors

• Background in computer vision, machine learning, or real-time data pipelines

• Knowledge of Linux, Git, and software development best practices
