JOB SUMMARY
To provide direct care, guidance, and instruction to the children of the MAOF Child Care and Development Centers. To instruct children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth that stimulates learning, according to the developmental stages of the children.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must hold a valid Associate Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) and follow an educational plan to pursue an Associate's Degree in a related field.
-Certification in Pediatric First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required.
-Completion of three (3) Infant and Toddler units is preferred.
-Minimum one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience in a preschool/childcare setting.
-Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
-Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English to ensure effective communication.
-Ability to connect with diverse groups, including low-income families.
-Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
-Genuine dedication to providing services to children and the community.
-Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
-Must complete AB 1207 California Childcare Providers: Mandated Reporter Training within 90 days of hire, renewed every two (2) years.
-Must possess own vehicle, valid California Driver's License and at minimum, general liability automobile insurance.
